LockonHug
We had just finished up watching Battle Royal in my Thursday night meeting of our Sci-fi and Comic book club (it's basically nerd club). We all gave this big group hug to say goodbye to our friend Amanda and someone grabbed her side by accident and she started to laugh and pulled away. My newest friend John Oese had my friend Chris Morgan (who we call Morgan) underneath the arms and he pulled him back through the door we had been standing in.

Here is where I come in. I decided to try and tickle Morgan because he is super ticklish. So, I went after his stomach. He was all "No! No." and he put up his right leg to push me back and I just grabbed it. My friend Charlie Perez, laughing, grabbed Morgan's left leg. We started carrying Morgan off and then Charlie playfully yelled "To the Lake!" We have a lake on campus not very far from where we were standing. I seconded his yell, crying, "To the lake!" and took off running. So did John and Charlie.

We ran off to the lake followed by Jon Greenfeder, Mike Moss, and Morgan's friend Jason. We were running full speed as fast as we could. At one point I had to hand off my purse to Jon and Morgan intercepted it. He stole my itouch out of my purse as leverage and I let him go to get it back. At this point I though we were done. Jason picked where I left off and they took off, laughing.

We made it to the lake but, if  you actually want to chuck a friend in the lake, make sure you don't use up all your energy running there. We didn't have the energy to boost him over the rock wall and then carry him down the bank into the lake.

I've never had so much fun. Well, okay, I'm sure I've had that much fun, but that's certainly the most fun I've had in a while. I laughed all the way back to my dorm.

I've had a good few weeks. I ordered some anime swag (including a Haruhi Suzimiya pillow, an adorable Sanji-kun plushie, and a Hetalia USA I Love Hamburgers wall hang) and a present for Marc who's birthday is next Saturday. I ordered his xmas gift too cause his birthday gift is back ordered. He'll prolly get his xmas gift next weekend and his birthday gift around xmas time.

I started working my clinicals today. That means I get to go to the hospital once a week and see actual people. I get to see patients starting next week. I'm very, very, exicted to see patients next week. All I'm going to be allowed to do is give a patient a bed bath and talk to them but I'm still really excited to do that. I'm going to do well. =D

....like I didn't do enough today.  Like today is some mythic date 09.09.09 and I just went to the mall and bought a watch. Blergh.

I hope this lethargy passes soon.

EDIT: I saw  Ranka Lee costume at the mall when I was there! At the bookstore. I almost dropped the 70 right there for it only cause I'll never see it again, but I didn't. I want to think about it first and also judge that I may want to buy Halloween costume stuff as well.

It's been a hectic couple of months. I finished my Microbiology class with an IDK grade because I emailed my prof but she never emailed me back. I'm sure I did well but I still would like to know. I went to Florida with my Marc and his family which was very fun. We did a lot of stuff, swam in the pool, went on a day cruise to the Bahamas, and overall spent a great deal of time having fun! Best of all we weren't sick of each other by the end of the week which was the most awesome of all. I worked a ton towards the end of the summer and made some good money for school.

Which I am now back at. *happy sigh* There really isn't anything like being back with my friends. I was so happy moving back in. I still am. Despite sratching up my leg and losing a sweatshirt I couldn't be any happier.

Let the year begin!

Manga is not pizza

And my newest find Dramacon is not manga, but I don't care because it gives me exactly what I'm looking for in a story. When I first saw it in the store I ignored it because it was a comic not a manga but recently I had to purchase an itouch for nursing school and the first chapter was free to read so I downloaded it. May I just say, awesome!! I reccomend it to anyone looking for a happy cute short story. I've read the whole thing three times since Thursday, at least.

The guy in the glasses is Matt (acts just like Marc hehe and Marc agrees) and the girl is Chriss or Christie. She loves "Pawky" and mangapop books. I am so in love with Matt btw *dreamyface*

Now, now I need to read more. Must get fix!

Happy Birthday to Me

I had a great night last night! My mom bought me a pair of tickets to go see Rascal Flatts, my all time favorite country music band. They played a great show, no a fantastic show. We (Marc and I) had lawn seats but because of the muddy grass we picked a spot in front of the mud and although we couldn't really see the stage but we had a great view of a screen but because of the mud no one sat in front of us. It was nice in our lawn chairs. Marc and I listening to songs about love and happiness.

They played a great encore too that included "Revolution" by The Beatles and one of my favorite songs of theirs, "Life is a Highway". Darius Rucker (formerly of Hootie and the Blowfish) opened for them singing some of his great country hits and the song "Only Wanna Be With You" which everyone should know. *smiles*

It was a great birthday present. Marc got me a copy of Sims 3 tew and haven't opened it yet cause my next action is to be napping but I will play later.

Planned is dinner and Transformers 2 at 11:59 in IMAX! Awesome! A bunch of my friends are coming and my sister. I can't wait.

Happy birthday to me indeed.

P.S. Marc if you let another occasion go by without getting me some sort of card you will not be happy. Oh no. You, will not be happy. =D

I've been thinking about this all week what to say about what could possibly be my only trip to Hawaii (although it was so nice I hope to go back) so I decided to include pictures.

Cut to save the F-lists! )

Overall this trip was fantastic. FANTASTIC. I want to go back and stay at the Hilton, yum. I had a great time, great food, great activities, and I had a great time with my family. It was great. The only thing missing was Marc. <3

P.S. Dan, I Have your shirt. It is a really big 2XL. I would have got a 3XL liked you asked but they were all like $50 bucks a piece and I didn't have the cash monies. I hope it fits!

01. Anyone who looks at this entry has to post this meme and their current wallpaper at their livejournal. (note: IDC if you do)
02. Explain in five sentences why you're using that wallpaper!
03. Don't change your wallpaper before doing this! The point is to see what you had on!

I don't need to much space to say I love the One Piece. I also really like this picture. Sanji with the gun=super sexy pants (take handguns plus lollipops, see what that does to me rawr) Also the outfits all seem to fit each person jsut right. Wish I had Sanji's kimono

PS. Rena, I finished all of Twisted Mirrors, dead tree form and online. I command you write more now, or I will be forced into violent action. No fooling though, it was fantastic and I would have no problem paying you for any volumes you should feel the need to put out in the future. Which should be all of the comic. Go on now. *makes shooing motions*

PPS. My mom got me tickets to see Rascal Flatts for my birthday! Marc and are going to the PNC Bank Arts Center on June 25th. *squee* Also, I leave for Hawaii Sunday. Just thought I'd mention. =p

I, or rather Marc and I, need information on are Picnic this Saturday. Is it still on? Where will it be? What shall we bring? What shall we wear? What time is it? Lordy, Lordy ever so many questions.

Marc and I were thinking of bringing the following: pasta salad, egg salad (with all the accouterments bread, salt, pepper, lettuce etc.), mini-cupcakes, and Idk maybe something else if I feel like making it.

What will everyone else be bringing? Is it still a cosplay picnic?

The question queen retires, hoping to have her questions answered soon.

I want to destroy lives too....

Cosplay plan B the Back-up

Because of my lack of trying hard enough (Actually I worked very hard, just at Anatomy not at losing weight and I'm happy with the choice) I am unable to to be Sailor Jupiter for Otakon. *sad face* But it's okay cause I have a backup plan! I'm going to be Winry from Full Metal Alchemist.

It started when I found a pair of pants that I lost when I packed up to come home they look just like those pants. I already have the pants, the shirt, the gloves, the shoes and the wrench. All I need now is the shirt she ties around her waist and the wig of course.

I will aim for Sailor Jupiter next year when I can set aside more time for weight lose and fund allocations. =D

I'm up for a position on my Sci-Fi Club's eboard as the Vice-President of Events. Basically I make sure that we have the rooms we need for our club meetings, arrange events like Video Game Nights and the Halloween Ball, and other club duties.

I really wanted this job and didn't want to take it cause I start my clinical work next fall and wouldn't really have time. I thought maybe I could do both but Marc has me freaked out about the whole thing. Telling me I won't have time to do it. I think maybe I'll just need help. So I'm recruting help from Jon, Morgan and most of all our last and most wonderful VP of events Amanda! *pleads for help* I'm just really glad I have friends who can help.

How does this sound for an event? Battle of the Rock Bands

It is amazing how easy it is to become obsessed with a new webcomic. That magic joy you get by reading through all the back story and falling in love with the characters and the heartbreak when you suddenly realize you're in the present and have to wait for updates like everyone else. Through the benefits of clicking and pointing I found Parallel Dementia pd.milkinthepantry.com/ which pulls your right in with a good first panel. a couple months in they do a wonderful crossover with Emergency Exit.

So after I finished PD, I moved right on to Emergency Exit. eecomics.net/ If I hadn't read PD first and known what was too come I never would have been able to get through the opening comics. EE seems to just fall into it's story, like it picks whats coming next out of the hat. But it sticks to it. In the 6th or 7th comic Eddie (who hasn't been named yt) simply pulls out a hammer and beats Bob(also unnamed at this point). Since that point Eddie's hammer is a constant. A cat suddenly appears in the next comic. The story is so brilliant though. I find myself dying for the next update. The story just gets better and better as it goes along and you simply find yourself in love with the characters. If I could be Eddie, with his coolness enhancers, and strange ability to be awesome beyond his means I would in a heartbeat. I love him so much I may have to dress up as him for Otakon. Comic number 1017 style. The animation style also goes through soem really massive changes and some really subtle ones too. It comes out nice evertime though.

I seriously recommend reading both of these comics. There stories are both different and captivating. Yay webcomics!

P.S. Something's Gotta Give is the only movie in which Keanu Reeves emotes at all.
